Operational Properties
ExtraLite� �is a new forming fabric developed by Cristini to provide high levels of smoothness and drainage.
Produced on dedicated looms it is a very compact design, allowing for high drainage levels with high FSI.
The high FSI is the reason is the main reason that EXTRALITE delivers the high level of fabric side planarity.
The high number of pattern repeats is an additional reason that EXTRALITE delivers the highest planarity during the fabric life while still supplying steady state drainage performance throughout life.
Applications
EXTRALITE is targeted toward packaging Top and Cover Positions.
Successes have been reported wherein improved retention has led to reduced fiber use and lower basis weights being produced.
EXTRALITE �ST
EXTRALITE �ST �is recommended in all high speed machines and for all machine configurations, from flat fourdriniers to gap former configurations.
EXTRALITE �LE
EXTRALITE�LE �is recommended on all applications where the Energy consumption or guiding problems are real issues.
To address these, we use our dedicated material, �Polimaster, �activated� polyester with low coefficient of friction.
EXTRALITE �XL
SOFTLITE �XL �is recommended for situations that involve sheets with abrasive fillers or generally for all high abrasion machines.
